Description
1 day
A few minutes from Saint-Louis, behind the Guembeul reserve, you will set off on a bike ride of around 20 km. With your helmets and a flask full of water, you will set off on tracks through the Sahelian savannah, acacias, small baobabs, dunes and a few water points.
Along the way, a short break will be scheduled on the dunes to have time to fully admire the scenery in which you will find yourself and maybe even take some pictures. Thereafter, you will put your foot on the pedal and go to meet villagers, carters, children and women at work in the fields. You will certainly be pleasantly surprised to come across green monkeys, watch out for your personal items with these little swindlers, or flamingos near the lakes.
When the heat begins to get unbearable, you will stop at Zebrabar camp, located by the river in the Langue de Barbarie reserve to enjoy a good lunch. After this more than sporty morning, you will have a relaxing afternoon where you can swim in the river and recharge your batteries in the sun!
