Departure from the hotel for Joal Fadiouth, an old animist Serer village where the first president of the Republic of Senegal was born. Visit the city and the artisanal port considered the largest in Senegal and continue to Fadiouth.
Connected to Joal by a wooden bridge, the village of Fadiouth is built on a shell mound. Its millet granaries on stilts implanted in the river and its Catholic cemetery make the charm of the animist village of Catholic adoption. A one and a half hour walk through the neighborhoods. Return to your hotel.
